NEW DELHI: BJP national president JP Nadda's official Twitter account was on Sunday hacked for a brief period.Several tweets were posted from the hacked account on the ongoing Ukraine crisis while seeking cryptocurrency donations for the war-torn nation.
"Stand with the people of Ukraine. Now accepting cryptocurrency donations. Bitcoin and Ethereum," read a tweet.Another tweet from Nadda's account solicited donations to help Russia.Nadda's account was restored shortly after."It is now under control. We are speaking with Twitter to ascertain the exact reason," a party leader said.
