(ISC)² CEO Clar Rosso Receives Cyber Futurist Executive Award

This month, CEO Clar Rosso received a Cyber Futurist Executive Award during the 6th Annual Cyber Future Summit in Augusta, Georgia, U.S. The Cyber Futurist awards celebrate c-suite and boardroom leaders who recognize the importance of cybersecurity within their organization and community. These awards shine a light on senior level leadership who exemplify the importance of cyber resilience in all aspects of decision-making within their organization.


During the presentation, Clar was introduced by Karl Mattson, CISO at No Name Security, as an “innovator that is representative of being a thought leader in the industry.” He further described Clar and the direction of (ISC)² as “skating where the puck is going rather than where it was.” Award recipients were collectively celebrated as fostering innovation and amplifying the entrepreneurship spirit that helps our security community thrive.


Valmiki Mukherjee, co-chair Davos Cyber Future Dialogue at Cyber Future Foundation, acknowledged Clar for her “focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, expanding access and skill.” He highlighted the recent announcement of the entry-level cybersecurity certification pilot program to develop an entry-level certification from (ISC)² by saying, “changing the certification model to include more entry-level talent, I love it, I didn’t know it was coming. I was really glad to see that and I’m sure there are more things coming out of the woodwork in the next few years.”
