Who was spotted at CRN Channel Meets (Cybersecurity) in Sydney?

Cyber-insurance, hiring graduates and using fear as a sales tactic were among the topics on guests’ minds at last night’s CRN Channel Meets Cybersecurity event in Sydney.

Sponsored by eSentire, Check Point Software, Eset, Fastly, Ingram Micro, LastPass, NinjaOne and Outseer, the evening in the Manhattan Room of Doltone House Hyde Park was more than a networking session, with CRN presenting its view of the local security challenges and opportunities, plus roundtable conversations and panel discussions over drinks and canapes.

Guests weren’t afraid to throw questions at on-stage panelists, commenting on everything from the problematic nature of cyber insurance to how to show customers value from cybersecurity.

Skills was a hot topic - one partner at last night’s event has built a thriving business solving that problem for other partners.

Thank you to alll the guests – we heard more than a few fascinating stories from you. Thanks as well to the sponsors for making the conversations and networking possible, and braving the stage to take a question or two from partners.

Next month Australia's IT channel will delve even deeper into its challenges and opportunities, from skills hotspots and solutions to the economic outlook and emerging growth areas, at the nation's premier event for MSPs, IT resellers, integrators and consultants, the CRN Pipeline conference.
